Every year millions of dollars are spent on Search and rescue missions. As an added feature of our Critical Safety system, Vacation Emergencies gives the lone traveler an extra safety tool when traveling at home or abroad. Some of us like to visit remote areas and foreign contries. For this reason, along with our emergency messaging system in this section we've taken an extra step and conviently provided a link to the US Embassy for easy look up if needed. We recommend sending a message before you venture out to areas like national parks or remote areas where people are known to frequently get lost and may need a rescue. A simple message like " Hey i'll be hiking in Yellowstone today. If you dont hear from me by tomorrow morning 10am check on me." And this willl be your Emergency message to be sent with your name and your GPS information that can be sent to authorities if needed.
